Red face Need better looking brakes

Does anyone make slotted and drilled rotors for LC500?

Has anyone tried ceramic brake pads? If so how was the experience?

Has anyone added slotted and drilled rotors for LC500?

Over recent years I have been eyeing a company called Novel, they a premium Lexus tuning brand with a race team that proves their products on the track.
If you're not in a rush, inquiring about what they have coming out for the LC might be a start. Already seen they offer brake upgrades for the IS (second generation)

I haven't seen any aftermarket brake options for the LC500 as of yet. I think it would look pretty slick if we were able to get a set of black cross drilled rotors for it.

I haven't seen any replacement rotors from the 'big' names, but there are several Big Brake Kits available from a handful of Japan based companies. It's hard to tell which/if they fit LC because they are sort of advertised as somewhat universal, you just select the size/type/colors and they have brackets for most applications.

A couple brands I'm aware of .
- AIMGAIN
- GANZ by Bold World
- TDemand

Slotted are ok, but drilled are called “pre cracked” in performance circles. You will not find them on any serious race or track car. Porsche and many other street cars have them for visual appeal for people who think that looks good.

It’s your car, people do all sorts of things to them.

Are you experiencing brake fade?

My fav for appearance are the “j hook”, seen on some race and high performance cars

This topic on brakes has me wondering what the LC-F will come with standard and what will be optional. Could we see some high performing carbon ceramic brakes be optional?

Thatís a big step up, more in price and prestige than in performance. $20,000?
