I understand the marketing purposes towards sticking a spindle grille on the space craft but i think they could have been more creative.

The Lexus Yacht shown how creative they can be.

You nailed it with the marketing purpose statement, Lexus is running the MIB RC F commercial every chance they get. That grille love it or hate it is Lexus all day so I doubt they stray too far from what the public knows as a Lexus product, thus the undoubtedly Lexus space cruiser.

I just think some better evolution of the grille would be better than slapping something on from a parts bin. The spindle design has potential that Lexus isn't exploiting.
