LC-F is arriving summer 2019 (according to Lexus executive)

It turns out the LC-F will be arriving in time for its initially rumored 2020 availability. Don't take my word for it, a Lexus executive hinted at what could only be the LC-F by saying "something big is coming to LC this year [2019]."
An LC convertible or LC 500 F-Sport might be news but not anything "big", those are just regular options we've seen offered with current and previous generations. Every other time Lexus promised something "big"... I recall that being a flagship F product (RC-F/GS-F/LFA).
Also, for over a year we've seen spy shots of an LC rocking aggressive aero, a quad exhaust setup and wider/stickier tires

Looking forward to this, I will let you ballers test it out first and hop on board once you've worked the kinks out in a couple of years..

If what they say about its near $200k price tag is true, I can guarantee you I won't be one of those ballers
Just a dreamer that can afford the regular LC500 of LC500h for now. I can push for pricing that would come with an F-Sport and my hope is we get hotter F-Sports with the hotter generation off full F models.

With how limited production an LC F would be, asking that kind of money for it is well within reason. Lexus just confirmed pricing for the RC F Track edition and even it starts from $96,650 not including on road costs.

It has nothing to do with being limited and more to do with the value proposition. It comes down to that 4.0TT engine and other performance parts. All eyes are on Lexus to see if they can step into real leagues of performance. The RC is proving that, in recent weeks especially.

You always pay for exclusivity up front and with low allocations you can also expect there to be some significant dealer markups. That's the price of being an early adopter however.

Now that we're well into summer and haven't heard/seen anything more, the coming autoshow season might hold details on the LC-F.

Just read about how a Lexus executive said in an interview that the GS and GS-F are very relevant models, even today. An interesting statement considering the current GS generation is OLD and is on its way out soon. Hopefully ending with a Track Edition like the RC-F. At least from this we can say positive sales performance of the GS-F and the RC-F makes for an even stronger business case for Lexus to pump more money into the F program

Quotes from that Lexus executive on the GS:
  • "On GS, although it is a little older, it achieved our plan for the year and it seems to be holding up well considering its age,”
  • "It fits really well with our lineup and we continue to invest in it and keep it. We feel it’s an important part of our lineup and it continues to meet our expectations.”
  • "We’ll be making the appropriate announcements [on the GS successor] at later and undecided date.”

Done right, it could be the Toyota/Lexus version of a Nissan GT-R we always wanted.

^^^^Not the car I want. I don't want FI. for me, a NA V8, though a dying breed, is the car for me.
