Exclamation If Lexus built an LC-F Track Edition...

Once the LC-F arrives pumping over 600 hp, what we might see after is hotter Track Edition. If Lexus build it, would you buy it??

This rendering shows what one could potentially look like.

It would definitely be up for consideration, my bank account may make a strong argument against it though!

Its largely a matter of the competition at what price point.

Over at Lotus we are looking at the new 430 GT as it might approach $140K all speced up.

@Xhilr8n! my math puts the LC-F at $140,000-145,000 to start and LC-F Track Edition around $200,000

Our first opportunity at seeing what's next for the LC will be the 2019 L.A autoshow. Of course it won't be track edition but hints of it might drop alongside the LC cabrio and/or LC-F we'll possibly see.

All I know is Lexus wants to make an impact with the LC and LS, putting up a bigger fight to German luxury automakers.

As for the L.A. show:
  • Lexus still hasn't officially announced a production LC F but it didn't exactly deny that such a car was in development when we asked about it. Moe Durand, Lexus International Strategic Communications Senior Manager told CarBuzz "something big is coming to LC this year," but declined to provide any additional information. Durand's comment could also point to a production version of the LC Convertible Concept, which debuted alongside the RC F Track Edition at Detroit. If Lexus does end up revealing a new LC variant this year, we'd guess it would show up at the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show in November.

I would be very interesting to see how it competes with other options out there. The phono of what it could possibly look like is nice, racy but not over done IMO.
