Infrared ride

Picked up a 2019 LC500 just before New Year’s. Traded our Bentley. That was an unbelievably nice car to experience, but was over five years old. Dealer over two hours away, and anything as complicated as the GT Speed will be having an ongoing list of issues small and not small. Even not considering cost, that just effects the whole experience.

We can expect our Lexus to be rock solid for many miles and many years. Worry free experience.

How do they compare? The Bentley is an old school analog experience. Soft and deep.

The 500 is modern digital sharp edged.

A lot more people have their heads turned by the Lexus. Many did not know what the Speed was or how to react.

Sure are enjoying the newness and the novelty and uniqueness of the 500. Am looking forward to learning and sharing here.

Everytime we take it out we go through a tunnel four times. Thing will bark on the downshifts.

Congrats on the LC and welcome to the community. Looks like you've got quite a few head turners filling up your garage. You planning on doing a track spec for the LC as well?

Thanks.

Any more, I just like to buy nicely set up cars and the only mods are floor mats, license plate frame, and radar detector.

If I decided to get into tracking again (the Elise and I did over 100 days at VIR and Road Atlanta), Id want to go back to Hethel and tell them what my needs are and let them build me a turn key. Costs less than building your own, and would be built by people who know what they are doing really well.

But everyone needs to mod at least one car to the point its no longer streetable. It starts with an exhaust usually, but these LCs come ready to go in that department!
