rear speakers volume crazy low

Hi, just purchased a 2018 with 2300 miles and it has the ML system. The sound is very tinny with all controls centered. When I adjust fade to rear the volume drops at least 90%. I expected an exceptional system with all the speakers but it sounds almost mono in all modes. I will be taking it to the dealer but wonder if anyone has experienced a similar issue.
That said, I love this car. I sold my ZR1 corvette because my wife refused to endure the stiff ride and loud noise. She also loves everything about the LC. We are both 65. This is the perfect "old guy" sports car.

I believe you have an issue with your system, mine pumps pretty loud and is definitely not tinny.

The sound system is decent, gets some good volume and can be satisfying, but this is a very digital vehicle. The sound is not warm or analog, but artificially clean and a bit devoid of life.

I have found it impossible to center the soundstage midcabin. It’s always very forward, and when I try to bring it more to the rear, volumn does drop and sound quality becomes “shallow”

It’s what we get in modern vehicles, even very good ones. There are really good systems out there, stock and custom. The Mark Levinson is something to be proud of, but not what you want for playing Beethoven.

And I’m 64

So I did a little snooping on the Club Lexus LC forum and found some good info. It was suggested that the fade should be adjusted 3 clicks to the rear. I ended up going 4 clicks. I also bumped the bass up 4 clicks and decreased the treble 3 clicks. Still not as good as my old 2002 Landcruiser 6 speaker system but Arrowsmith, Joe Cocker, the Stones, and Bob Seger sound way more like themselves today than yesterday. Also found info on correcting the tilt of the heads up display. They seem to be far more active on the Club Lexus LC forum than we are, here. Another good resource for real world advice.

Thanks for the responses here!
