Can anyone help me?

Hello, I am not located near a Lexus Dealership and have an issue that i would like to attempt to resolve here myself. (2018 LC500)
My center console latch will not open the console lid. It's loose feeling as if it's broken somehow. I can't find interior pictures of this anywhere. I have tried to shine a flashlight in there between the cracks to see where the latch could be hung up or how it operates but to no avail. Can someone please lift your center lid and take good pictures of the actual latch and inside the box and the upper side of lid for me so i can see what to do next. My insurance/reg is in there....i'll have to drive the speed limit for now! lol...if a cop pulled me over and i told him i can't get into my console, i'm sure he'd laugh... "uh, yeah right, now i've heard everything"...
please please can someone help with some photos?, i'd be so grateful....thanks! April

Mine pulls back and opens but does not consistently slide forward to close when I hit the button again to close. Feels like it is experiencing some friction when opened fully.

i'm wondering if this is going to be an issue for many...literally the pins that allow it to open and close in the lid/hinge to the box itself are not working (got the car in April)...this is a warranty issue and i now know you can't just get a lid, it's a box replacement....which is 1800 bucks...thank god for warranty. Guess i'll have to make a trip to the nearest big city...ugh

I have the cable for the radar detector coming through, and despite that it still works well.

Very tough for a passenger to get to. But it soft closes forward well, for any car.

Surprised yours broke. Any chance it hit something? Even then, Toyota/Lexus make dependable solid stuff, generally

Almost every car or truck on earth open that way.

But Lexus were making a point to be nontraditional. Putting the seatbelts in upside down is quite aggravating, but they did it their way.

Go out to any of your other cars. Reach back to your seatbelt (either side). Pull it down and fasten it.

Look at how the belt passes over your shoulder without twisting.

Now do it in the LC.

An aggravation every time I get in the car. Just dumb the way they did it.

But then, I came to this car from a Continental, where a little motorized arm brings the belt to you, and definitely in the proper orientation.
